Today cocktails are big business with bars springing up everywhere in the UK major towns and cities, including several bars in Huddersfield which offer a range of cocktails.
Simon Marriott from United Brands, a company which specialises in cocktails, is about to introduce readers to three of the most popular cocktail ingredients currently on the market. He has taken time out from his busy schedule, including a week at the recent Taste of Leeds food and drink festival, to tell Around Town readers more about today’s top cocktails:
Pallini Limoncello is the most Italian of drinks and offers true pizazz in a glass, being the perfect ingredient for a cocktail.  Gosling Black
Seal Rum is most often used to create its signature (and copyright) cocktail and Bermuda favourite?Dark And Stormy.
This drink has a 200-year-old history and is said to have originated when sailors on their way to America discovered the liqueur on Bermuda. Although today labelling shows a black seal, the name originates from the different coloured seals used to secure the liquid in champagne bottles for export.
Dark And Stormy cocktail is made from Black Seal Rum, ginger beer and a squeeze of fresh lime poured over ice and garnished with a slice of lime. Enjoy the ‘spirit of Bermuda’.?

Boru Vodka is a five times distilled premium Irish vodka named after Brian Boru, the first High King of Ireland. The stylish frosted bottle features an embossed date of 1014, the year that Brian Boru led Ireland to victory against foreign invaders.
