Land Rover is looking forward to continuing this strong tradition with the arrival of the all-new Freelander 2. The Freelander 2 emerged as one of the biggest stars of the British International Motor show, where it made its world debut in July 2006.
New from the ground up, Freelander 2 has set new standards for compact premium SUVs. The vehicle delivers outstanding on-road performance as well as the class leading off-road ability of a true Land Rover. The exterior and interior styling of Freelander 2 has been refreshed and is instantly recognisable as the latest Land Rover. With a dynamic design, 'stadium seating' and spacious cabin, Freelander 2 combines class-leading comfort with practicality for drivers who demand more from their vehicle. Designed around the legendary Land Rover command driving position, Freelander 2's cockpit gives a great all-round view of the road.
Technical highlights of Freelander 2 include two brand-new engines: a 3.2-litre straight-six petrol and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel. Both feature advanced technologies to deliver outstanding combinations of performance and economy.
