Dining Out at The Whitwood Inn
With a great new menu and on-going improvements inside and out, The Whitwood Inn has much to offer as a local eating establishment.
 In January the pub was acquired by the family-run Yorkshire based Tinniswood Inns. With the help of an award-winning chef, the new team is aiming to produce fantastic food, using quality local produce.
Situated just off Junction 31 of the M62, The Whitwood Inn is conveniently placed for all occasions – from a midweek meal for two, a family outing for Sunday lunch or a special celebration.
A large modern pub, it is remarkably spacious with several pleasant dining areas. With contemporary decor, it has a great choice of food and wine and a warm welcome is guaranteed.

On the evening we visited, many diners were already seated and making their choice from the mouth watering menu. With great dishes for everyone, we decided on starters of Chicken Liver Pate and Goat’s Cheese Bruchetta. Both arrived swiftly and were tasty and delicious, disappearing quickly as were both hungry.
